Supporting the Relational Base of Language and Social Skills:
Circle of Security Parent DVD Program®
Speech Pathology Tasmania is offering the wonderful Circle of Security Parent DVD Program® to its clients and any parents, grandparents, or parents-to-be who would like to join us. At a time of isolating and change-rapid world crisis, nothing, nay nothing, brings personal support as powerfully as secure connection. This program teaches you the steps for building secure connection with, and into, your children. And not only that, it gives insights that benefit all relationships.
We’ve been using this beautiful parent-child attachment program in our clinic for almost 10 years. We love its warm, accepting, non-judgmental, non-blaming approach to exploring attachment. Attachment is an empowering quality that enables trust and connection within relationships. It also underpins language development and social skills development. And mental good health. For children and parents.
Wonderfully, the skills of attachment, like any skills, can be taught and practised.
The Circle of Security program itself is practical, kind, scientific, appropriately challenging and wonderfully gentle. It stimulates new insights. It points at clear directions to support the enrichment of parent-child relationships immediately… and across the lifetime.
