I have a passion for working alongside people toward a common purpose, whether that is building confidence, creating connections, or driving social change. I believe meaningful change begins in relationships and grows through understanding, awareness and education, and where small steps are celebrated just as much as giant leaps. This same philosophy is where I have found and continue to find my voice and learning how to express it.
It takes a village to raise a child. Speech Pathology Tasmania has been one of those villages for me, and a community that has supported, empowered, and shaped the person I am today. Now, I am a part of that village for and with others.
There is immense power and value in lived experience. Noticing its value motivated me to complete my Sociology degree in 2024; I did not just study it, I live it.
One of the ways I navigate the world is with a guide dog (my first dog Harper and my current dog Monty), who serve as a literal and metaphorical guide, who encourage me to step out in courage, with the reassurance of physical and emotional safety; removing the barriers to a fulfilled life.
