I’m originally from Brazil, where my love of languages began at a young age. I started learning English at eight and French at thirteen, which inspired me to become a teacher. I studied Education, specialising in Portuguese, English and French, and had the opportunity to study in both New York and France.

I began my career as a school teacher in Brazil before moving to Dubai, where I spent 10 years as a flight attendant with Emirates. Travelling the world allowed me to experience different cultures, meet incredible people and broaden my perspective. It was also in Dubai that I met my husband, and where our son was born.

After moving to Australia, I returned to teaching before completing a Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Tasmania (UTAS). I chose speech pathology because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives. I love helping children build communication skills, confidence, social connections and independence so they can reach their full potential.

Outside of work, I enjoy studying grammar (yes, I really do!), spending time at the beach, bushwalking and making memories with my family.

I completed a placement at SPT and immediately felt at home. The supportive culture and shared values of connection, kindness, trust, freedom, excellence and integrity made me excited to become part of the team and help make a meaningful difference for our clients and their families.
