The Circle of Security Parenting™ Program helps parents create secure, nurturing connections with their children, fostering emotional regulation, confidence, and communication skills.
By building strong attachments, it supports children’s language and literacy development. COSP™ offers a respectful, non-judgmental space, making it a valuable experience for parents to enhance their relationships with their children.

Speech Pathology Tasmania runs the COSP™ program online in an evening of the middle eight weeks of each school term.
Participants gather online using Microsoft Teams. In a context of confidentiality, participants engage with the program’s content and share reflections with a small group of people (maximum of 10) in ways that are supportive and non-demanding.
The sessions run over 8 weeks on a Tuesday night from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm (at a time when their children will most likely be asleep).
Participants will receive information on how to use Microsoft Teams via email prior to the first session. Participants also receive a workbook and program resources.
At the conclusion of the Circle of Security, participants who complete 7 to 8 sessions will receive a full certificate. Participants who complete 5 to 6 sessions will receive a partially completed certificate.
