Tailored to your needs from a 1 hour short session to a full day workshop. Perfect for staff meetings and PD training opportunities. The courses are offered as an in-person training or can be held over Microsoft Teams

OG Language Approach
Tailored Workshops offer a snapshot of the various subjects based on the OG Language Approach. This training will give key insights for educators to effectively teach language and literacy skills to all, including those with dyslexia and other learning disorders.
Your facilitator, Linda McKillop, is a master trainer and is recognised nationally for expert knowledge and experience in the Orton-Gillingham Language Approach.
This training packages can be used as:
- Standalone trainings without any previous knowledge of OG Language Approach
- As an add-on/refresher for staff who have completed the OG Language Approach Basic and/or the Advanced Morphology Training.
What Participants can Expect?
Participants will gain a concise yet powerful understanding of the Orton-Gillingham Language Approach and its application in educational settings.
The Tailored Workshop is designed to provide educators and allied health professionals with key strategies to support literacy development, particularly for students with dyslexia and other learning disorders.
Each session is tailored to your needs and is practical and actionable, equipping attendees with effective tools they can immediately apply in their teaching or literacy work.
Duration Options: Flexible around what’s needed from a short 1 hour session right up to a full day workshop.
Topic Options: Linda Mckillop will consult with schools/organisations prior to training, to target the literacy training material an/or case studies to suit the audience (primary, secondary or college level).
