PD Training: Understanding 44 Speech Sounds in English

Suitable for: School teachers, teacher assistants, literacy leaders and English coordinators, learning support and intervention teachers, and both new and experienced educators.

This professional development workshop equips educators with a practical understanding of English speech sounds and their role in literacy development. Participants will explore phonetics, phonology, articulation, and phonemic awareness through an Orton-Gillingham aligned approach, building confidence to support reading, spelling, and decoding outcomes for all learners.
